History
TBE Group was established
in 1984 by Patrick L. Beyer, PE, who continues today
as CEO and President. The
firm was originally known as Tampa Bay Engineering.
Over time the
firm has expanded geographically, first to other Florida
cities then to a majority of states across the country. Today
TBE operates throughout the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, China and Puerto Rico.
TBE Group continues to diversify and expand from its
early service offerings of civil and transportation engineering
to the six service divisions that exist today:
- Development, Environmental & Planning Services Division
- Transportation Services Division
- Right of Way Services Division
- Construction Services Division
- Subsurface Utility Engineering, Utilities Division
- Water Resources / Asset Management Division

of more than 40 offices worldwide.
