Cardno TBE Appoints New Senior Utility Coordinator

March 25, 2011, Clearwater, FL—Cardno TBE, Clearwater, Florida, announced the appointment of Sally Prescott as a Senior Utility Coordinator. In this role, Ms. Prescott is responsible for identifying facilities and utilities that are in potential conflict with design and construction projects, and works to negotiate resolutions that are mutually satisfactory for the utility, property owner, and other project stakeholders.

Prior to joining Cardno TBE, Ms. Prescott was Utilities Administrator for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 7, which covers Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties. During her tenure there, she was responsible for overseeing various American Recovery and Reinvestment Act projects, including
I-4/Lee Roy Selmon Expressway, the largest project ever let by District 7. Ms Prescott also was responsible for overseeing the District 7 portion of the high-speed rail corridor. Previously, she served 11 years as a utility coordinator for private engineering firms in the Tampa Bay area.

Ms. Prescott earned a bachelor of engineering technology degree from Louisiana State University, and she is a member of the Florida Utilities Coordinating Committee and the American Society of Highway Engineers.
