TBE Orlando Office Announces Christopher Proulx Promotion to Director

Orlando, FL – Christopher Proulx has been promoted to Director for TBE Group, Orlando, FL. He will continue in his multiple roles as corporate safety director; director of three dimensional underground imaging services; providing support for Utilities Division field training and geophysical services technical oversight.

Chris joined TBE in 1999 as a geophysicist responsible for providing Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) investigations. He currently oversees TBE’s entire geophysical program which includes a fleet of GPR systems operated around the country by technicians trained by Chris. He has also assumed roles in division-wide field training; has developed several first-class in-house training courses for field technicians and has assisted in the development of standard policies, procedures and protocols for the Utilities Division.

Chris also serves as TBE’s corporate safety director in addition to his similar role for the Utilities Division. More recently he has been given responsibility for TBE’s three dimensional underground imaging (3D-UI) services and directs all three dimensional / underground utility assignments for the Utilities Division.

Chris has authored several published technical papers including one entitled Achieving a More Complete View of the Subsurface with 3D Underground Imaging most recently accepted and published by the Transportation Research Board as industry-ready.

Chris has attained credentials as an Associate Safety Professional and has taken prerequisite training to become a Certified Safety Professional.
